It is a privilege and honor to give my testimony; Dr. Nicole Reid has impacted my daughter’s life and mine. It was 10 yrs ago that I met you, and in small talk, you shared with me what you do as a career. I then shared with Dr. Reid that my daughter was about to finish high school and to look to take the next step to apply to nursing school. She just needed guidance and direction and as a parent, I also needed her to have the right resources for her. I thank God for you every day, knowing that what you are doing is a calling. And you do it so gracefully, patiently, lovingly, and kindly.

You mean so much to my daughter Keiandra. As a parent, I am cautious about who I allow close to my children or even allow to provide advice. But I knew in my spirit all was well with you mentoring my daughter. You are a natural mom and a nurturer. I thank you for all that you have done. There were times I was discouraged; my daughter was discouraged. I sometimes did not know what to say or do. All I could do was message you and say call Keke. You would always step in; thank you, God!
You always had the right words to say. You were there for her losses and her wins, and you continued to encourage her. And also inspired me, as there were times I was so broken inside, but you always had encouraging words. I appreciated the mentoring you provided not only to my daughter but to me as well. I know this is a calling on your life Dr. Reid that you will continue to impact the lives of children and parents. I am happy and proud of what you are doing. Keiandra will continue to make you proud. You are like a second mom. In the hardest times, my daughter has learned to celebrate herself; and push beyond the boundaries and obstacles. My daughter has gone from High School to college into her current role as a registered nurse under your mentorship, with more to come... Thank you!

My testimony is one of a kind. My journey began when I was in high school trying to figure out my next step in how to transition from high school to college to accomplish my goal in becoming a nurse. I had the pleasure of meeting Mrs. Nicole in this transition that took such a weight off my shoulders. Mrs. Nicole has truly inspired me through my journey. From high school, to nursing school, and now pursuing a Doctorate in Nurse Anesthesia. I would not have come this far if it was not for Mrs. Nicole. Her guidance, advice, and knowledge of leading others to their profound goals is something she is destined for. Throughout my journey I have had numerous of failures. With the help of Mrs. Nicole, I have been able to overcome these failures with being able to map out a plan and using the resources and tools she is knowledgeable of. She has always reminded me to keep going and to trust God through my journey. I thank God for bringing Mrs. Nicole in my life as my journey continues, I still call her for all program and coursework advice as she is my guidance and like a second mom. Thank you, Mrs. Nicole, for always being there every step of the way and giving me guidance throughout my journey.

My daughter and I had a rough patchy relationship. It was not the best, and I only knew what to do once she joined the monitoring program. Now, my bond with my daughter has increased dramatically. I want to express my profound gratitude for Miss Nicole's words of wisdom. Your guidance and encouragement helped save a once-broken relationship with my daughter. The mentoring session was terrific; Miss Nicole mentoring my daughter has also opened my eyes to many opportunities I hadn't considered before. Miss Nicole has mentored my daughter on and off over the last three years. And she is still available to Hillary at anytime.

This mentoring program has not only helped me find myself worth, it also helped me have an impact from middle to transitioning to high school. Being mentored by Miss Nicole also helped me to grow and fix my relationship with my mom and with God. I am so glad that I've gotten the opportunity to be helped and I pray that anyone else out there that wishes to be heard will take this opportunity to open up through this mentoring experience.
